Hamilton Construction will resume construction activities on Lowell Point Road on Tuesday, April 28. Work will continue until Thursday, May 7. Periodic traffic delays and road closures with potential delays not in excess of 15 minutes should be anticipated.
During the following high-traffic times, Hamilton Construction will ensure one-lane road access to Lowell Point Road:
- 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Emergency responders and service providers will have unrestricted access to Lowell Point Road. When flaggers are present at the bridge, local traffic is the only other traffic that will be allowed. That includes only Lowell Point residents as well as essential businesses. This does not include recreational use, such as hikers, bikers, pedestrians, or sightseeing past the flagger during construction times.
When traveling Lowell Point Road, please be cautious of construction equipment, follow the posted traffic signs, and follow the direction of Hamilton Construction flaggers. Please be aware of updates as construction continues.
