Just after 1pm, Monday November 27th, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook the South Central Alaska.
The U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Earthquake Center initially reported the quake at 5.3 magnitude, as did the Alaska Earthquake Information Center.
The earthquake’s epicenter was approximately 32 miles southwest of Tatitlek at a depth of 9.8 miles below the earth’s surface.
There is no tsunami warning at this time.
