Man Identified For Firing A Gun From A Moving Vehicle On Sterling Hwy

A man was identified on Friday, April 12, for discharging a handgun from a moving vechicle.

 

Alaska State Troopers received a report in Anchor Point on Saturday, April 5, of an individual firing a gun from a vehicle on the Sterling Hwy.

 

After an investigation, the suspect was identified as 20-year-old Christian Ludlow.

 

Authorities determined that Ludlow had discharged a handgun while the vehicle was in motion, resulting in damage to a road sign.

 

Under Alaska Statute AS11.61.200(a)(11), discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle constitutes a class C felony.

 

Following the investigation, Ludlow was located on April 11, 2025.

 

He was issued a summons to appear in court to face the charge.
