A full schedule of high school sports on tap for the first weekend of May.
Softball
The Soldotna girls softball team will host Kodiak on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3 at the Soldotna Little League Complex. Friday’s game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and Saturday’s game, now scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
Baseball
The Kenai and Soldotna baseball junior varsity teams are competing at the Houston Baseball Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
Soccer
Friday’s soccer schedule includes the SoHi Stars hosting Houston and the Nikiski Bulldogs at home against Palmer. Saturday’s schedule includes Skyview hosting Colony; KCHS against Grace; and Nikiski at home against Houston.
Track & Field
Peninsula teams will compete at the Anchorage Invitational Track and Field Meet at Dimond High School in Anchorage on Friday and Saturday. A meet schedule and meet results available at athletic.net
