Senator Peter Micciche will be in Soldotna tonight at a town hall meeting to be held in the Borough Assembly Chambers.
From 5:30pm to 7pm Micciche will meet with constituents to discuss developments in the Legislature. One of the topics taking up most of the Soldotna Senator’s time is marijuana…
Sen. Micciche(R-Soldotna): “We’re learning a lot about what it takes to turn corporate attorney initiative language into Alaska law and it’s not as easy as it seems. Things are moving along.”
Micciche is also the sponsor of SB 1 which would prohibit smoking inside certain places, like bars, clubs, and places of employment.
A second town hall in Seward tomorrow (Saturday) from 3 to 5pm in the Seward Community Library.
