Month Long Burglary Investigation Yields Arrest and Items

New leads were developed, a suspect arrested, and items were recovered after over a month long investigation into a Ninilchik burglary.

 

Alaska State Troopers Anchor Point dispatch was notified on October 18 of a residential burglary off of Deep Creek Road.

 

During the ensuing investigation, new leads were discovered on November 24 and a 17 year-old was arrested as a suspect.

 

Troopers recovered a SKS Rifle and Hunting Bow which had been stolen but are still searching for a black and ivory bracelet with swans engraved into it which was also taken.

 

Investigation is ongoing and if anyone has any information on that bracelet they are requested to contact the Anchor Point Troopers.

 

The 17 year-old was transported to the Kenai Youth Facility and held on charges of Burglary to the first degree, Theft to the second degree of a firearm, and Theft to the second for the remaining property.
