Northbound lane is open. Tow trucks on the scene removing vehicles involved. No injuries. Drivers should continue to expect delays.

According to the Alaska DOT and on the scene witness, Traffic was stopped Friday afternoon at around 1pm on the Seward Highway, just north of McHugh Creek at around Milepost 113 due to a multi-vehicle accident.
Both lanes of the highway were closed for around an hour. Traffic was stopped until the vehicles were removed from the highway.
As of 1:50pm the highway was reopened, but traffic was moving slowly through the area. Drivers are asked to be advised and drive with caution while traveling through the area.
