Original Story
An accident involving at least two vehicles at MP 82.5 of the Sterling Highway, near the Sterling weigh station, has closed traffic in both directions.
The Alaska 511 alert on the accident says there are multiple emergency vehicles in the area.
Please use caution when driving near this incident or alter travel plans to avoid the area completely.
A text from officials with the Alaska State Troopers said there was significant damage to vehicles and that the limited traffic flow could last for some time.
