The 2017 Bill Miller Big Fish Wood Bat baseball tournament closed three-days of American Legion baseball action with the team from Napoleon, Ohio defeating the team from Walla Walla, Washington in the championship game on Thursday morning at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
Napolean downed Walla Walla 4-1 in the title game; both teams now travel to Anchorage for the annual BP Invitational tournament.
Kenai Post 20 Twins fell to West Anchorage in a non-league contest 8-3 to close the tournament. The Twins will host Palmer on Sunday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
