Today is National Digital Learning Day and this morning U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski posted a video urging people to use technology to “focus more on self-improvement than selfies”.
Rep. Murkoski: “In Kenai you can take a tour of the Community Library and see what it has to offer. I encourage you to get out and see how your community is using technology to broaden horizons.”
The Kenai Community Library is commemorating it by offering a free class at 4pm for the public.
Ryanna Thurman from the Library told us a little more about what the class will offer.
Thurman: “Introducing the online resources that we have and kind of going through and showing all the different places that you can go to get help online.”
