The self-response and field data collection for the 2020 Census will conclude by today, according to a press release from 2020census.gov. Internet self-response will be available across the nation through October 15, 2020 through 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST), (through 1:59 a.m. AK Time, 5:59 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on October 16, 2020). Phone response will be available for its regularly scheduled time on October 15, 2020.
The 2020 Census asks a few simple questions about you and everyone who was living with you on April 1, 2020. You have the option of completing the questionnaire by phone. To begin, call 844-330-2020. Paper responses must be postmarked by October 15, 2020.
Nonresponse follow-up census takers will continue resolving nonresponding addresses through the end of the day on October 15, 2020.
