The ASAA First National Bank 3A State Basketball Tournament, a three-day, 16 team tournament featuring girls and boys in a seeded bracket, closed-out Championship Saturday round Alaska Airlines Center on the campus of UAA.
The Nikiski Bulldog girls dropped the 3rd Place Game to the Barrow Whalers 45-34 to close-out play at the 3A state tournament. Rylee Jackson and Emma Wik each scored 8 points for the Bulldogs.
