In a year in which numerous basketball teams from the central peninsula have gathered airline miles from Nome to Juneau to San Diego, the Nikiski Bulldog basketball teams travel to Kotzebue for the 2020 Husky Shootout basketball tournament.
Nikiski joins a tournament field including Nome, Homer and host Kotzebue in the three-day, round robin format.
