Alaska State Troopers report that they were dispatched on Tuesday just after 12:00 p.m. to a two-vehicle collision with injuries near Moose Run Road in Nikiski involving two 1997 Subaru Legacy sedans.
The caller reported that one of the vehicles had left the scene, according to the online state trooper dispatch.
The vehicle was located nearby, and an investigation revealed that 23-year-old Kade Vincent Lee Robinson of Nikiski was the driver of the vehicle that had left the scene and a family member of the other involved vehicle.
Robinson was issued misdemeanor citations for no insurance and driving in violation of a learner’s permit. Two occupants of the Subaru that stayed on the scene were transported to the Central Peninsula Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
