The Nikiski Bulldogs will be the #1 seed into the Southcentral Conference Volleyball Tournament posting an undefeated conference record, including a victories over ACS and Houston to close the regular season.
The Bulldogs downed the Houston Hawks on Friday 25-11, 25-19 and 25-9 to close out the regular season with a 12-0 SCC record. Bethany Carstens lead the way with seven kills.
Nikiski earns the top seed into the Southcentral Conference Tournament, to be hosted at Homer High School and running Thursday through Saturday, November 3rd and 4th.
Nikiski draws a first-round bye in the seven-team tournament and will play the winner of Houston vs ACS on Friday in the 4:00 p.m. game.

3A State Qualifying Standards
Southcentral Conference receives two automatic berths. The champion and runner-up from the Southcentral Conference Tournament earn automatic berths.
The 3A at-large berth will be either the Aurora, Southcentral or Western third place team, or the Southeast second place team.
