A Nikiski woman was arrested for attempted murder for allegedly shooting at a man’s vehicle when he drove by her on May 11.
Megan Peters said the woman and a child of unknown age were walking when the man in his truck passed.
Peters: “Just before 8 o’clock in the evening we received a report that someone was being shot at while he was operating his vehicle near Island Lake Road. We did have multiple AST units go to the area and when we got there they were able to locate the person believed to the suspect. She was identified as Alice Gray, it appeared that Gray had fired multiple shots at the vehicle as it was going down the roadway and it did strike that vehicle three times.”
The driver was uninjured and the firearm involved was recovered.
According to the Trooper report, 31 year-old Gray admitted firing multiple rounds at the vehicle because she believed he was driving recklessly.
She was arrested for Attempted Murder in the second degree, taken to Wildwood Pre-trial, and held without bail.
