The Soldotna girls and boys track teams topped the field in the SoHi Invitational Track & Field meet held in the sunshine at Soldotna High School on Saturday. Great conditions all day produced nine, new state-best performances on the day.
Outstanding Peninsula Individual Performances
Trenton O’Reagan from SoHi and Homer’s Laura Inama each recorded four, first place finishes on the SoHi track.
O”Reagan raced to individual victories in the 100M and 200M, anchored the SoHi 4X200M Relay and jumped 20′ 1.75″ in the long jump.
Inama posted victories in the 100M, 300M Hurdles and Long Jump (state-best 16’5.5″) and as a member of the Homer 4X400M Relay.
SoHi’s Erika Arthur won both the 800M and 1600M and was a member of SoHi’s state-best 4X800M Relay.
SoHi’s Autumn Fischer swept the throwing events with wins in the shot put 34′ 8.5″ and the discus 105’11”
Kenai’s Maison Dunham raced to a state-best 2:00.71 in the 800M and anchored a come-from-behind Kenai win in the 4X400M Relay.
