The Ninilchik boys basketball team remains undefeated following a pair of victories on the road against Unalaska.
Ninilchik 59 – Unalaska 44
The Wolverines opened a two-game swing in Unalaska with a 59-44 victory over 2A Unalaska 59-44 on Friday. Jaylin Scott lead the Wolverines with 21 points and Lukah Kalugin added 16 points. Ninilchik pulled-away with a 20-point, fourth quarter.
Ninilchik 81 – Unalaska 56
Ninilchik opened a 17-7 first quarter lead and never looked back enroute to an 81-56 win on Saturday in Unalaska. Landon Colburn topped the Wolverines with 23 points and Lukah Kalugin scored 19 in the victory. Ninilchik remains undefeated in the regular season.
The Wolverine boys will close the regular season on Saturday, March 5th with a game against the Kenai Kardinals at KCHS, scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start time.
