Northern Lights Conference Releases All-Conference Team Selections

The Northern Lights Conference for Alaska 4A basketball may have missed-out on its conference tournaments and opportunities to advance to the 4A state basketball tournament; however, conference coaches, through video conference, have selected and honored both the girls and boys all-NLC selections for the 2019-2020 basketball regular season.

 

Northern Lights Conference: Girls 

Most Valuable Player:  Ituau Tuisaula – Soldotna

Coach of the Year:  Jeannie Hebert-Truax – Wasilla

1st Team All-Conference:  Bella Hayes (Wasilla), Ituau Tuisaula (Soldotna), Indiya Clarke (Colony), Jazlynn Novelli (Wasilla), Catherine Uschmann (Palmer), Tori Schwantes (Colony), and Abby Kenley (Colony)

2nd Team All-Conference:  Leslie Spear (Kodiak), Harmony McSorley (Wasilla), Drysta Crosby-Schneider (Soldotna), Hannah Duguid (Colony), and Livia Solis (Palmer)

Good Sport Team:  Abby Kenley (Colony), Angel Mangrobang (Kodiak), Rosie Toro (Palmer), Kianna Holland (Soldotna), and Jordyn Cox (Wasilla)

 

Northern Lights Conference: Boys

Most Valuable Player: Patrick McMahon – Colony

Coach of the Year:  Tom Berg – Colony

1st Team All-Conference:  Colton Spencer (Colony), Patrick McMahon (Colony), Jersey Truesdell (Soldotna), Luke Devine (Wasilla), Jeremiah Hersrud (Colony), Lavar Marshall (Palmer), and Wyatt Baker (Colony)

2nd Team All-Conference:  Andew Devine (Wasilla), Sam Gallindo (Kodiak), Ray Chumley (Soldotna), Mekhai Rich (Soldotna), and Donnie Lawhead (Wasilla)

Good Sport Team:  Jeremiah Hersrud (Colony), Josh Barnett (Kodiak), Mekhai Rich (Soldotna), Kyle Obremski (Wasilla)
