The Division of Elections continues to tally mail and in-person absentee ballots as well as question ballots and aims to have them counted by November 19.

Executive Director of Division of Election Gail Fenumiai said the results are all unofficial until they are certified on November 28.

Fenumiai: “So there’s a substantial numbers of ballots still to be received, but we don’t have numbers on those yet. We still have a substantial number of ballots that we already have in our office that are eligible to be counted right now, the early votes that didn’t get counted last night and the remaining of the absentee ballots that are eligible to be counted, and that totals a little over 22,000 at this point. So you have those plus the potential of 13,000 state question ballots, that’s still about 36,000 ballots and then whatever absentee ballots that are returned from the voters as well as those in-person ballots that are sent to us from the 200 plus absentee in-person voting locations we have.”
