The 2017 ASAA Alaska State Cross Country Running Championships are scheduled for Saturday, September 30 hosted by Bartlett High School in Anchorage. Championship Saturday on the Bartlett High School Trails will include races in both Division I and Division II, girls and boys.
ASAA State Cross Country Running Championships: Division I State Qualifiers
Central Peninsula: Kenai & Soldotna
Region III Diivsion I qualifiers include members of the top three teams from the Region III Division I championships and the top 15 finishers not on one of those three teams.
Kenai Central High School qualifiers:
Kenai Girls: All varsity runners (seven) on Kenai girls championship team, including Addison Gibson (Region III champion), Riana Boonstra, Kenai’s Jaycie Calvert, Brooke Satathite, Ithaca Bergholtz, Sarah Drury and Dareena Doyle.
Kenai Boys: Maison Dunham
Soldotna High School qualifiers:
SoHi Boys: All varsity runners (seven) on SoHi boys runner-up team, including top 15 finishers Josh Shuler, Bradley Walters, Koby Vinson, Sean Verg-in, Lance Chilton, Bechler Metcalf and John-Mark Potast.
SoHi Girls: Erika Arthur
