Ogden, Utah Man Arrested In Homer Kidnapping & Murder From 2019

38-year-old Anesha “Duffy” Murnane of Homer went missing on October 17, 2019, in an incident that’s been investigated ever since as the Homer Police Department chased down hundreds of tips and talking to numerous people.

 

After a recent tip and subsequent investigations, 32-year-old Kirby Foleni Calderwood of Ogden, Utah was arrested on May 9, 2022. He is charged with kidnapping, murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree and tampering with physical evidence in Duffy’s disappearance, according to a press release.

 

In a statement, the Homer Police Department thanked everyone who cooperated in the investigation, citing the dozens of individuals who helped the Department with initial searches and others who called in with tips and information. The Department also thanked the FBI and the Ogden Police Department in Utah for their help in the case.

 

HPD states that this is an ongoing investigation, and they can’t disclose any further information at this time.
