The Peninsula Oilers dropped their season opener 6-4 to the Mat-Su Miners on Friday; allowing four runs in the first inning, three unearned on three errors.
The Oilers rallied for one run in the third, one in the sixth and a two-run home run by Oliver Dunn in the bottom of the ninth. made the score 6-4.
The Oilers face the Miners on Saturday with a change in game time to 6:00 p.m.
