The Anchorage Glacier Pilots held the Peninsula Oilers in-check in a 2-0 Alaska Baseball League victory at Mulcahy Park on Monday.
The Pilots scored single runs in the first and second innings. Oilers starter Hayden Johns threw five solid innings allowing four hits and only one earned run.
The Oilers finally have an off-day on Tuesday and begin their first homestand on Wednesday, June 22nd at Coral Seymour Memorial Park at 6 p.m. with the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in town for a five-game series.
Game times are scheduled for 6 p.m. for home games Monday through Saturday. Sunday games are scheduled for 2 p.m. starts.
Wednesday’s home opener is ESPN 1140AM Night & Coca-Cola Night at the Ballpark. Admission is Free.
