Oilers Even Series Against Bucs With 13-3 Sunday Win

The Peninsula Oilers exploded for 13 runs in three innings to run-rule the Anchorage Bucs 13-3 on Sunday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

 

Oilers 13 – Bucs 3

The Oilers offense posted five runs in the fifth inning led by a two RBI double by Shun Sakiano and a three-run home run by Dalton Bowling.

In the sixth inning, Casey Burnham, Sakiano, Graiden West and Noah Hennings scored with Bowling driving in two runs on a two-RBI single.

The seventh inning featured a two-RBI double by West and a two-RBI home run by Noah Henning.  The game ended with the Oilers leading 13-3.

Bowling recorded four RBI; Sakiano three and Henning three RBI.

 

Monday is a Free Admission Day sponsored by Coke and the final home game of the regular season for the Peninsula Oilers.  Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
