The Peninsula Oilers posted a 2021 season record of 10 runs and 13 hits on Monday against the Anchorage Bucs.

The Oilers fell to the Bucs 13-10, the victim of another season record, seven errors, in a run-fest at Coral Seymour Memorial Park. In a season which has been dominated by pitching and low-scoring contests, both the Oilers and Bucs recorded 13 hits and double-digit runs.
Bucs 13 – Oilers 10
After a two-run first inning for the Bucs, the Oilers answered with three runs in the first for a 3-2 lead. The game was tied at 4-4 until the Bucs scored five runs in the seventh and added four runs in the eighth inning. The Oilers scored three runs in the seventh and three in the eighth. When the dust cleared and the final out was recorded, the Anchorage Bucs took game four of the five game series 13-10. The series is tied 2-2 with the final game set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Oilers Park.
