Oilers Fall To Bucs In Anchorage

The Peninsula Oilers fell to the Anchorage Bucs, 3-2, on Thursday, July 18.

 

In the bottom of the 1st, the Bucs Payton Knowles reached first on an error by first base; Josh Hankins advanced to second; Ryan Callahan advanced to third; Andrew Lamb scored, unearned. Then Dylan Maltby singled, 2 RBI; Payton Knowles advanced to third; Josh Hankins scored unearned; Ryan Callahan scored unearned. Bucs 3 – Oilers 0.

 

In the top of the third Zak Farris flied out to centerfield, SAC, RBI; Aidan Sullivan scored for the Oilers.

 

In the top of the 4th, Max Roffwarg singled, RBI; Cole Dawson scored.

 

Final Score: Bucs 3 – Oilers 2.

 

The Peninsula Oilers remain in second place in the Alaska Baseball League.
