Tuesday’s rains produced too much water for the Coral Seymour Memorial Park field and a rain-out for the opening game of the Peninsula Oilers vs Anchorage Bucs series and the first home game of the season.
The Oilers are hosting the Anchorage Bucs in a five-game series, now beginning Wednesday, June 21 and running through Saturday, June 24.
Wednesday’s doubleheader is scheduled for two, seven-inning games with the first game set for 4 p.m. and game two will follow.
The Oilers stand at 4-6 in the ABL and are currently in 4th in the standings; the Bucs own a 6-5 record and are currently in third place.
