Oilers Host Chinooks In Five-Game Series Opening Thursday At Coral Seymour Memorial Park

The Peninsula Oilers open a five-game, home series against the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks on Thursday, July 7th with the two teams battling for a playoff spot in the season-ending Top of the World Series for the Alaska Baseball League.

 

The Oilers currently stand at 6-12 (unofficial) in the ABL and the Chinooks own a 4-17 (unofficial) record.  The Peninsula Oilers recently closed a series against the ABL leading Mat-Su Miners falling to the Miners in four, narrow losses and recording a single 8-5 victory.

 

The regular season schedule for the Oilers will feature only one additional home stand with the Oilers hosting the Anchorage Bucs July 21-25 at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
