The Peninsula Oilers open play in the 2017 ABL Top of the World Series on Wednesday, August 2nd following a regular season, 4th place finish and a record of 19-25.

 

ABL Playoff Scenario 

The Oilers, as the #4 seed, will face the #1 Mat-Su Miners at Herman Brothers Field in a best 2 of 3, first-round series.  The first game is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in Palmer. Thursday’s game two is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and the “if necessary” third game will follow Thursday night.

 

The Anchorage Bucs, #2 seed, and the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, #3 seed, will open their best 2 of 3 series on Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. game.
