Thursday’s rains produced too much water for the Coral Seymour Memorial Park field and a rain-out for the opening game of the Peninsula Oilers vs Anchorage Bucs series.
The Oilers are hosting the Anchorage Bucs in a five-game series, now beginning Friday, July 22 and running through Monday, July 25.
Friday’s doubleheader is scheduled for two, seven-inning games with the first game set for 4 p.m. and game two will follow.
The Oilers stand at 13-18 in the ABL and are currently in 4th in the standings; the Bucs own a 15-16 record and are currently in third place.
