Oilers Win Against The Pilots In The 10th

The Peninsula Oilers walk off in the tenth to defeat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots 5-4 on Monday, July 29.

 

The Pilots scored first in the top of the first when Edison Polanco flew out to right field, RBI, SAC; Luke Heefner scored unearned.

 

The Oilers Braden Smith scored in the third inning, tying the game.

 

Anchorage would light up the bats in top of the sixth, Edison Polanco doubled, 2 RBI; Rodrigo Barajas scored; Luke Heefner scored. Then, Jacob Kowes singled, RBI; Edison Polanco scored. Oilers 1 – Pilots 4.

 

That would be the last for the Pilots, as the Oiler’s Cody New singled, RBI in the sixth inning, and Colin Robson scored. In the seventh Aidan Sullivan doubled, RBI; Braden Smith scored. Cole Robson doubled, RBI; Aidan Sullivan scored tying the game 4-4.

 

In the bottom of the tenth inning, Braden Smith flew out to centerfield, SAC, RBI; Eddie Leon advanced to second; Bryce Wirthgen advanced to third; Cody New scored.

 

Final: Oilers 5 – Pilots 4.
