The lone candidate for the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly’s Homer seat Kelly Cooper weighed-in on what the borough has to look forward to with the LNG Project.
Cooper: “Well we have to look at our infrastructure, our roads, our emergency services, our schools and unfortunately when they come in through the borough it takes so much longer to get anything done and that’s just the way we’re set up. So we have to try to plan in advance for what our needs our going to be and prepare but there’s going to be some growing pains and it would be nice to see how long they expect that influx of people in our community.”
