Allie Ostrander continued her amazing run through the 2017 NCAA Womens Track & Field Championships racing to a fourth place finish in the Womens 5000M run, just 90 minutes after winning the national championship in the 3000M Steeplechase.
Ostrander completed the 5000M in 15:46.28. Missouri’s Karissa Schweizer won with a 15:38.93. Ostrander entered the race with a qualifying time of 16:25.76, a second place finish at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in Austin.
