Allie Ostrander is positioned for her professional debut in the world of track and field, following an all-american, three national championship run in collegiate track at Boise State University–now on to the 2019 USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
Ostrander will compete in the Women’s 3000M Steeplechase with the first preliminary race set for Friday, July 26th at 1:57 p.m. Alaska Time. The prelims include two heats of 11 runners; Allie Ostrander enters with the third fastest time in the first heat and fifth fastest qualifying time. The top five runners from each heat and the next four fastest runners advance to the Women’s 3000M Steeplechase final on Sunday, July 28th (3:09 p.m. Alaska Time).
Ostrander competes for the Brooks Beasts Track Club based in Seattle, Washington.
