Sarah Palin has announced her support for the “unity ticket” of Bill Walker and Byron Mallot in the gubernatorial race.

 

Despite the fact that Palin topped the 2006 ticket for governor with current Gov. Sean Parnell as her running mate, Palin hosted a reception at her Wasilla home on Tuesday, lending support to Parnell’s election opponents.

 

The combo ticket is already an unprecedented one since Walker was a republican until last month and Mallot won the Democratic primary in August.

 

Meanwhile Joe Miller has released an ad not directly naming Dan Sullivan as the candidate he supports but the ad focuses on unseating current Senator Mark Begich.
