Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin started her endorsement of Donald Trump today with a speech in Iowa, saying the U.S. armed forces need a stronger Commander in Chief.
She cited the Obama Administration’s role in the recent incident of U.S. Navy crew members being released by Iranian forces…
Palin: “And he, who would negotiate deals kind of with the skills of a community organizer organizing a community tea, yeah, well, he, deciding that America would apologize as part of the deal as the enemy sends a message to the rest of the world that they capture and we kowtow and we apologize.”
The 2008 Vice Presidential candidate also touted Trump’s business background, saying that a president is “to keep us safe economically and militarily. He knows the main thing and he knows how to lead the charge.”
Palin: “When we’re talking about bankruptcies in our federal government, debt that our children and our grandchildren will never be able to pay off, when we’re talking about no more Reagan-esque power that comes from strength, power through strength, we’re talking about our very existence. We’re not going to chill, we’re going to drill, baby, drill, down… to hold these folks accountable.”
Towards the end of her speech, Palin touched on unifying Americans by treating vets better than illegal aliens, tax reforms to open up main stream again, and to stop race baiting.
