Peninsula Conference Football Releases All-Conference Selections

The 2018 Peninsula Conference All-Conference Team selections have been released including first team, second team, honorable mention and player of the year awards.

 

The Houston Hawks completed the regular season unbeaten in conference play and receive 10 first team selection, one player of the year and a coach of the year award.

 

The Nikiski Bulldogs earned two first-team selections, including:  Dustin Mullins, guard and Joe McLeod, defensive line.

 

Peninsula Conference: Year-End Awards

Coach of the Year: Glenn Nelson, Houston

Offensive Player of the Year: Brendan Wong, Ketchikan

Defensive Player of the Year: Apete Sasiu, Houston

Lineman of the Year: Stevie Byron, Ketchikan

Quarterback:  Brendan Wong, Ketchikan

Tight End:   Brandon Weiber, Ketchikan

Halfback:   Apete Sasiu, Houston and Beau Freiberg, Seward

Fullback:   Kennedy Fono, Houston

Wide Receiver:   Cristopher Carlson, Ketchikan and CJ Jasper, Ketchikan

Center:   Shawn Graham, Houston

Guard:   Dustin Mullin, Nikiski and Wakefield Kremer, Houston

Tackle:   Talalelei Sasiu, Houston and Jadin Mann, Homer
