The Kards, Bulldogs, Seahawks, Mariners and Stars are set to battle at the Peninsula Conference Soccer Championships.

Following a regular season which saw changes to traditional rivalries and conference affiliations, the Peninsula Conference in soccer’s Division II will hold its first conference tournament beginning Thursday at Soldotna High School.

Alaska’s soccer landscape in 2018, featured two classifications dividing 31 teams into two divisions based on school enrollment.

The Peninsula Conference tournament consists of five teams, both girls and boys, and will advance two teams to the Division II soccer state championships.
