The 2017 Peninsula Ice Challenge opens the high school hockey regular season with three days of competition at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex beginning Thursday, November 2nd.
The Soldotna Stars open the tournament against Monroe Catholic from Fairbanks in a 2:15 p.m. contest. The Kardinals follow against Service High of Anchorage in the 4:00 p.m. game. The Peninsula Ice Challenge is a round-robin format tournament.
Both Soldotna and Kenai hockey programs will be guided by new coaching staffs for 2017-18.
