Three games, three losses for the Peninsula Oilers against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots with the most recent loss coming Saturday in a 9-5 Anchorage win at Coral Seymour Memorial Park. The Oilers (7-15) are now 0-5 this season against the Pilots (12-9).

After two scoreless innings, the Pilots tagged Oilers starter Jake Adams for a pair of runs to take a 2-0 lead in the top of the third.
The Oilers responded with a run in the bottom of the inning on a Connor McCord RBI groundout against Pilots starter Braxton Cottongame.
Anchorage chased Adams in the fourth after a walk and back-to-back doubles to begin the inning. The Pilots scored three runs in the inning against Adams; before Oilers reliever Kyle Muller closed the inning.
The Oilers put up a three spot in the sixth on three hits including RBI doubles by Skyler Messinger and Victor Carlino. The third run scored on a two-base throwing error by Pilots shortstop Zach Sehgal, allowing Carlino to score to draw the Oilers to within a run at 5-4.
The Pilots ended the game with four, unanswered runs; two in the seventh and another pair in the eighth to bring the score to 9-4.
The Oilers scored their fifth run on a Calvin Farris RBI single, plating Bobby Goodloe who reached with a lead0ff double.

Game four of a five-game series against the Pilots begins Sunday at 2 p.m. at Coral Seymour Memorial Park. The final game of the series is Monday at 7 p.m.
