Posting two-straight wins to begin the five-game series against the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks, The Peninsula Oilers drop three straight; the Oilers close the series with a 5-3 loss on Sunday.
The Oilers ABL leading record falls to 11-7, the Chinooks improve to 8-9. The Chinooks hold a 5 to 3 game advantage over the Oilers with three, head-to-head meetings remaining in the ABL season.

For the first time in the series, the Chinooks post the first run of the game with a run in the third inning.
The Oilers scored in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI double by Ryan Novis, plating Evan Berkey to even the score at 1-1.
The Chinooks tagged Oilers reliever Erikson Fish for two runs in the top of the seventh inning, Fish allowing a two out, two-run home run to Anthony Forte for a 3-1 Chinooks lead. Oilers starter Christian Winston tossed five innings, allowing a single run on eight hits.
The Oilers closed to 3-2 on a seventh inning run on a Ryan Koch RBI double scoring Novis, who had reached on a single.
Chinooks added one run in the eighth and ninth innings for a 5-2 Chinook victory.
