Fresh off an eight-game road trip (2-6), the Peninsula Oilers open their longest homestand of the season, a total of 11 games, with a five-game series against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots beginning Thursday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
Thursday’s game one between the Oilers and the Pilots is scheduled for a 7 p.m. first pitch. Friday and Saturday will also be 7 p.m. game times with Sunday set for a 2 p.m. matinee. Monday closes the Pilots series with an earlier 6 p.m. “get-away” game. The Pilots are 2-0 against the Oilers in Alaska Baseball League play.
