Oilers vs Goldpanners
The Peninsula Oilers open a 43-game baseball schedule with the three-game series against non-Alaska league opponent Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks. The Goldpanners, the original Alaska summer baseball program started in 1960 and a charter member of the Alaska League in 1974, has elected to play a non-league schedule for the past few years and continue to play outside of the Alaska League in 2021.
Oilers First Road Swing
The Oilers, following the three-game Goldpanner series, will travel North for an 8-game road swing which will include games against all four Alaska League teams: Anchorage Glacier Pilot, Anchorage Bucs, Mat-Su Miners and Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks. The Oilers return home to Coral Seymour Memorial Park on June 19th for a 5-game series against the Mat-Su Miners and a 5-game series against the Anchorage Bucs.
