The 2016 Alaska Baseball League season is just around the corner and the Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club is preparing for opening day set for June 8th.
The Peninsula Oilers will open with a five-game home stand beginning with a two-game series against the Mat-Su Miners, Wednesday and Thursday, June 8th and 9th.

Host families need to provide a bed and meals for players; transportation is provided by the Oilers. Host families receive a memorable experience and free tickets to Oilers games. The baseball season is split nearly evenly with home and away games; resulting in the players being home for only about half of the two month long season.
