Each week throughout the high school sports 2024-25 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week of August 20th:
- For the Kenai Kardinals is football player Tony Perez
- Perez for KCHS Football at Quarterback 5-9att – 67 yards – 1 touchdown.
- For the Nikiski Bulldogs is football player Ryder Maguire
- Maguire had a solid performance in our football game. Nikiksi is excited to see him develop this season.
- For the Soldotna Stars is football player Kenai Lepule
- Offensive and Defensive lineman, Kenai Lepule. Kenai paved the way for four different RBs scoring touchdowns against Palmer High School.
