Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week of March 26th:
- For the Kenai Kardinals is cheerleader Sarah Jane Baisden
- Baisden is a member of the All-State Cheer Team and part of KCHS Cheerleading’s 4th straight State Championship.
- For the Nikiski Bulldogs, no Athletes for this week were submitted.
- For the Soldotna Stars is cheerleader Lily Hannevold
- Hannevold is very dedicated and works hard on the cheer mat and in the classroom.
Congratulations to all Peninsula Sports Athletes of the Week; each recipient will receive a 6-inch combo meal courtesy of Subway of the Kenai Peninsula.
