Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.

For the week of March 26th:

For the Kenai Kardinals is cheerleader Sarah Jane Baisden
- Baisden is a member of the All-State Cheer Team and part of KCHS Cheerleading’s 4th straight State Championship.
For the Nikiski Bulldogs, no Athletes for this week were submitted.
For the Soldotna Stars is cheerleader Lily Hannevold
- Hannevold is very dedicated and works hard on the cheer mat and in the classroom.

Congratulations to all Peninsula Sports Athletes of the Week; each recipient will receive a 6-inch combo meal courtesy of Subway of the Kenai Peninsula.
