Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week ending November 14th:

- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is volleyball player Kate Wisnewski

- Wisnewski was a part of the State Volleyball All-Tournament team and finished the season with 1146 assists 1st in the state.

- Leading the pack for the Nikiski Bulldogs is volleyball player Alexa Iyatunguk
- Iyatunguk helped her team to a 3rd place finish, being super consistent at the net and leading her team in kills throughout the state tournament.
- Selected for the Soldotna Stars is volleyball player Kiara Forkner
- Forkner played Libero, and was a key defensive player all season. Her play and energy were essential in our teams run to the state tournament.
- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is volleyball player Kate Wisnewski
