Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week ending November 28th:

- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is cross country skier Chase Laker
- Laker competed in the Turkey Trot and took 1st place with a finish time of 13 minutes 41 seconds.
- Leading the pack for the Nikiski Bulldogs is wrestler Jake Martin

- Martin had a great week on the wrestling mat.

- Selected for the Soldotna Stars is hockey player Tanner Clyde
- Clyde is the Goalie for the Soldotna Hockey team. Tanner has had a hot start to the season in the net, and has proven to be a key piece to SoHi’s hockey team’s early success.
- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is cross country skier Chase Laker
